Sorry to see other people that have had issues with their fibre installations but there is always the opposite which I have experienced.

Order fibre (ordered wrong package should have been 100/20 not 30/20) end of Jan and received info that first scope visit would be end of march, fine I thought no worries. Was pleased to get a call beginning of Feb saying scope visit would be 16th of this month with install on the 24th.

16th arrived and scoping was done in about 15 mins (very easy install) , Yesterday they turned up at 10am and everything was finished and live by 1pm.

Now mine was a very very easy install with the street connection about 5 meters from the house and the install from there was just straight through the wall. Now just have to get my plan put up to 100/20 as soon as it shows I am on fibre and I will be even happier.

Note : I am in Christchurch.

I was lucky - mine was relatively easy too (aerial drop). I took an afternoon off work but it only took about 3 hours. They left the copper intact as well, just in case smile
