Hi,
I've noticed a few interesting roadside boxes along my street and Onewa Road (Birkenhead, North Shore)

The boxes are green, about 400mm high, and moulded into the box is a label which says "Cable TV". They look like they have been there for a while (i.e > 1 year and < 4 years)

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but does anyone know what they are for, and who the provider is?

I'm mainly interested to see if there is an alternative to DSL and/or Sky in my area.
