You'll have to excuse my ignorance on the subject (I've been overseas!) but are there really any contenders as an alternative to citylinks fibre network in wellingtons cbd. I see telstra have 1Gbps connections however can't find anything on the web for any other companies. Even telecom's site doesn't really offer any help.

TIA

Hi, here is a good place to start looking, but essentailly Citylink is it, however this link shows various retailers of citylink if you run down the fibre column.

Doh, CBD yes all have fibre services there, the link above was for the ISPs onselling citylinks public lan service, so providing pipes to various ISP, if you want their private/metro lan service for linking corporate offices around the city or to other cities then see citylink themselves.

Both Telecom and TCL you will have to approach a business account manager to get any info.

For Vector try FXNET as a retailer.

Once you move away from the CBD abit its citylink that will have a majority of coverage, so keep that in mind if you want to connect and office furhter out.
