Just doing a job for a client on 2Talk fibre. When I do a whatsmyip.org I get a different address from that allocated to the PPOE interface.

 

 

 

I can't call 2Talk on their behalf at the moment so thought I would post here. Anyone know if they are running CGNAT?

Yes, they are, you can pay extra for a public static IP: "All circuits provide a static IP. Choose between a 2talk private IP or a public IP for additional fees. Only one public IP per connection."

If you can log on to your customers account you can simply change the access circuit to have a public IP. The change is immediate.

 

...but obviously your customer will be charged for it.
