Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere but can someone please give me some advice on the best UFB provider to use to stream IPTV from Singapore. I've been using MR and speeds/latency to Singapore are all over the place

Got some sites? Then people can through up traceroutes from their different ISPs.
I can't imagine there would be much difference between them as everyone has pretty good performance up through AU which is where I assume Singapore traffic travels.
Your issue is probably more related to the streaming site. I just looked up 'Singapore tv' and came across 'www.channelnewsasia.com' which is served from a local akamai cache so should perform really well.

If you consider Vodafone HFC cable 100/10Mbps to be "UFB": speed 102/10 Mbps, latency 134ms, jitter 4ms

39.32Mbps up
223ms latency
1ms jitter

Softlayer run their own network, with a PoP in Sydney. I'd imagine every single NZ ISP has decent IX peering in Sydney, so they all should work about the same.

Edit: Assuming your IPTV is being hosted by Softlayer. Each network in Singapore has different routing policies, so just because you have a good connection to Softlayer SG doesn't mean other SG sites are the same.

Appreciate the replies everyone. The IPTV provider didnt specify the link they gave me was one to their servers but they did confirm that the link was to the same country where there servers were located

Having said that seems to be a bit of variance in the results here but here's mine

I get better than that, tested over wifi, Slingshot ADSL2 connection

2degrees 100/20 UFB, nothing else much happening on the connection at the time.

70Mbps down, 13.6Mbps up, 132ms latency, 4ms jitter

Thanks everyone. Even djtOtago with adsl is getting better speed than me with a 100/20 MR connection.

Is anyone out there in ChCh with MR who can have a crack at it?

if im going to be honest My Republic are $hit dont even bother with them, move somewhere else if you can. Anywhere but trust power would be a good start.
