I have a quick questions, enable inside fibre down my street in June last year, received a letter in Nov saying fibre was now all ready to go and in Jan I decided to switch and now my ISP is being told by Chorus that fibre isn;t available to my address....

How long does it take to install and is this a normal timeframe?

Enable is not Chorus, Chorus is not the Wholesale service provider, Maybe your ISP does not have an agreement in place with Enable

Thank you for pointing this out I didn't even think about that. Thanks @MyRepublic for making me have to wait even longer now... Great!

Why not pick another ISP, one which does offer UFB in your region?

All sorted after a grumpy phone call. Have spoken to enable and the job it booked to be scoped this Thursday with finial install next friday. Once again poor service by My republic.

1. They booked the install with the wrong provider

2. They failed to inform me that the job had been rejected (Not sure if they expected me to use psychic powers to find this out)

Once my contract has finished I'm changing providers unless I can convince my better half that we should just pay the termination fees.
