First post, thanks in advance for the help.

Just moved into a new house and signed up with Bigpipe UFB 100/20. ONT was installed by Chorus and a electrician installed a 8 port data switch (Netgear gigabit switch gs105).

I have two routers: Netcomm nf 5 n300 and Belkin N300 Wireless Router/Modem.

The Netcomm router sort of works but it is extremely slow and patchy, the Belkin doesn't work at all (I have selected PPPoE for both but that is about the extent of my knowledge of what I need to do for UFB).

My question is, should either of these routers work well for UFB or should I just get a new one?

Also through the wired connection, whenever I start any of my computers up, I have to manually choose to connect to the network which takes 30sec/1 min.
Would appreciate any help on how to make it connect automatically on start up.

As you can probably tell I do not know a huge amount about these things so any help appreciated.
