Some company called AQL is selling textable landline capability for 2 pound a month in the UK. Is there an equivalent here? Or is there some trick that can be pulled with voip to achieve this?

It will be a little while before we see such service in NZ I would say, look at the current text pricing, only within the same network you can get cheap pricing, until we have another carrier I would say then we would see a drop in price one would hope. There is a 4 digit textable number provider I believe but then again it is not cheap.
