Hello everyone,
Could somebody answer my question please?
I read here that a user could choose the ONT location inside their house but what about ETP (external box)?
The reason why I am asking is because the part of my house that is closest to the street is actually a bedroom and we don't have computers there.
We also don't have a Ethernet connectivity from that bedroom to any other rooms.
Would it be possible to ask Chorus tech to install that ETP box to a different location so he could drill a hole a put a fibre to the main room where we have all our computers and router located?
The problem is that the wall of the house itself is not straight so if they are going to route their external cable along the wall, it will need to follow that route which would be like
My concern they could be too busy/lazy to extend the cable to a few more meters (because of the wall curvedness). Am I entitled to tell the where to place ETP where I want it, not where it would be EASY for them?
Thank you!
