Just want to know so i can upgrade to ADSL2+

My provider is Slingshot, on the Pro plan

If you are connected to the Takapuna exchange then you should have an ADSL2 profile on your line, mine appeared early last week

DSL Status: Connected

DSL Modulation Mode: ADSL2

The other exchange you'd be on would be Forrest Hill, which according to Telecom's website is also fully enabled, I cant check however :P

So it would be ether Takapuna or Forrest Hill exchange is that right?

You can find out which exchange you're on by looking at your phone number in this excel file from Telecom.

My phone number starts 489, so the IEIN would be 9489 (which is on Takapuna)

If you are on the Takapuna exchange then you are able to get ADSL2+ from Orcon from today, as we have just started accepting orders for the unbundled Takapuna exchange.
