Has anyone got this tool to work with Dynalink modems?

When I try I get unrecognised modem, but apparently in some other forums it says it works?

I have a Dynalink RTA770W and used version 8.07 fine, version 9.01 does not work as it doesnt support the chipset.

I'd start at version 9 and work your way backwards as certain versions work with certain chipsets.

Also make sure you use Annex A

It works fine with my RTA1025W.

Thing is you have to get the right version for the chip in the modem/router.

Ok cool.

Is it also correct that line noise, in db, higher is better?

Attenuation, lower is better? I recently saw one with 61db attenuation upstream!
