We are on the Vector fibre ring (Queen St - AKL) through to Ihug and since May 19, speedtests to the AKL (and LAX) servers have been going off the dial.
Previous: typical test (with around 50-100 users on the cxn at any one time) down 4-6Mbps / up 400-1000Kbps
Now: 22Mbps - 45Mbps down and up 400-1000Kbps.

anyone know if Vector have made any major changes?

I saw a customer who was paying for a 1 meg circut getting 3. Perhaps their config is a little broken at the moment as the frams should get dropped after you exceed you CIR.

Sure your company hasnt upgraded?
