Hi,
Can anyone recommend a reliable ADSL modem with wifi? Customer has a laptop about 20m away from the modem's location, with a wifi printer there as well. He currently has a Dlink modem that is unreliable/failed and a Neatgear access point which doesn't seem to 'reach' quite far enough wirelessly.

My netgear access point seems to need resetting frequently when its wifi is being used, so am not keen on that brand (my experience being the only basis, really). Currently I'm leaning towards Linksys WAG160N or WAG325N.

Any thoughts?
Cheers
Julian.

You're better off getting something like a Linksys AM300 running in half-bridge mode and an AP/Router that will run DDWRT (the dd-wrt forum suggests the Asus wl500g deluxe is the best performance, but the Linksys boxes are more popular).

I had the same problem with range at my home - I searched for a wireless access point that you could plug a directional aerial into.  This helped considerably.
