They are apparently reliable and have good customer service.

However i don't like how the daily data usage means you cant be flexible for large downloads, eg i want to download Day of Defeat Source through steam for the free weekend that starts tomorrow, whichs is 1.2gb without the source engine. based on a 350mb per day im going to get capped obviously, which is a pain compared to just loosing a decent chunk of the monthly usage, which i can handle easily, or buy more data.

I would suggest Snap or Xnet btw.

I find them excellent. I'm on FS up and down - 1.4 gb per day - effectively doubled with their 6.00 pm and 2.00 am resets to 2.8 gb per day.

Customer service has always been good and downtime in the last 2 years has been minimal - really minimal.

I agree with other poster, if you are on a lower daily rate and want to download a lot, it might take a couple of days of usage versus you canning your monthly limit . aka other plans in a day etc.

I have recently looked at xnet and others as they offer more download for roughly the same cash...From recent reports on this site and pressf1, most ISP's appear to be having some difficulty of sorts in dealing with increased levels of usage etc, new customers exceeding supply so am happy to say Actrix for now..

Hope that helps

Very good customer service
Whenever I have had to call them on behalf of a client, the techs I have spoken to are older, and not usually 20 somethings. I can see this helps when grandma wants some help as they are more patient and understanding, compared to Xtra's outsourced ones.
They are a smaller company that has been in the game longer than most of the other ISP's too.

In fact, the name Jim rings a bell. He has always been nice to deal with at their support desk.

thanks! I ended up going with them and its been great!

great customer service, and the daily limit suits me great - means that I'm not capped for the rest of the month if I go over.

Thanks!
