Hi.

What chance is there that Fibre slated for Nov 2019 will arrive to me prior to that? I had heard that Chorus esp were actually now ahead of schedule. I'd very much like to get UFB in time for the RWC 2019, but November will be too late!

I imagine no chance, but I thought I'd ask :)

Hey networkn,

We are generally ahead of schedule but it’s a case by case basis. The best indicator is to keep an eye on our address checker at www.chorus.co.nz because we will change it to reflect the most up to date estimate for your address. If work is able to be finished early then that will be reflected on the checker as an earlier availability date for Fibre.

@chorusnz I've been hitting refresh all morning and it's still showing Nov 2019! ;)

Damn you @chorosnz for reminding me to check. My address is Nov-2019 now when previously it was earlier in the year.

It could be worse. I do have access to a reliable 70Mbps VDSL connection in the mean time where others are not so lucky.

Mine was originally June 2019 and it's moved back and forward a few times. Because of the RWC, I really want it in before then. I'll likely consider greasing some palms :)

Now I feel lucky - I was also in the June 2019 group but around six months ago jumped forward to March 2019. I've been occasionally checking back and hoping for another jump forward, but maybe I should be grateful for what I've already got! Eight months to go...

I have been furiously smashing my F5 till friction smoke poured out of my keyboard, still nothing!

My arm is so tired, but I don't want to miss out.

Is it like clicker heroes, every 1 million refreshes takes a month from your wait?
