What is the status of UFB for Takapau? The list online says 2022 but I have 2 people claim they are rolling it out now. I would be interested to know thanks.

Based on chorus's maps September next year.

personally i don't count that as fibre at all though.

That's like providing fibre to a single house in outram then saying outram now has fibre!

Thanks for that. Can you please explain this "FFP" and how Takapau would compare to a standard FTTP UFB install?

Think of it like cabinet area, that's likely the easiest to explain. (there isn't actually a cabinet, it's passive gear fed from the exchange these days)

it's a standard UFB GPON install.

This sounds like a normal UFB layout?
