I am interested in seeing if there is anyone in the Auckland area that provides AirFiber like Backhaul as I am many years away from getting fibre at my place and given it would cost $20k to install today I was wondering what the cost might be to connect using Wireless.

4G wireless not fast enough? As you might be able to get Skinny 240GB or wireless Nation unlimited 4G.

Otherwise can you setup your own wireless link to a property that does have UFB?

I have tried to figure out Wireless Nations website and can't find out if my address is valid for their unlimited 4G, which would be great if they use Spark towers as they are just across the road.

Skinny is an option but I am a fairly high user so would probably go over the 240G.

240gb is a high amount of data on wireless.

I would suggest looking at

- StrataNet
- Wireless Nation (they run their own 4g network and can use Vodafone RBI in other areas)
- Compass
- Ultimate Wireless

where in Auckland are you?

I have a similar setup for my parents because fiber is not available and probably will never be.

Adsl is non existent and vdsl well that will never exist where they live.

They live 5k out of town with only a few houses on their road so im guessing thats why theres going to be no decent internet.

So i have a similar setup to get a decent connection out to their place and it works flawelessly, if you are close or can see the pole that we have installed we could work something out providing you are in the same area.
