Came across this thread on the Wellington subreddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Wellington/comments/9y0hyi/anyone_else_experiencing_abysmal_internet_speeds/

Was curious if this is actual a known issue with Spark/Chorus? Seems like a group of users experiencing similar issues.
Anecdotally I have noticed an increasing in buffering when streaming video over the last 1-2 weeks but haven't done any testing past that.

I can't say I've seen any examples of this personally.

as per that thread, would appear this is affecting more than just spark, so probably belongs in a different section.

Chorus do run their network as "congestion free" so i do find it somewhat surprising for kakori to be so limited.

I'm not seeing any notifications from chorus confirming issues.

@Chorusnz may want to comment further though.

As @hio77 says above, appears to be Chorus and not Spark, so have moved this thread.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

I can see Spark's network is humming along without any congestion in any link from Wellington.  I'm not aware of any Chorus congestion issues in the Wellington region.

Have you run any speedtests?  Are you using Wifi or directly connected?

My views are my own, and may not necessarily represent those of my employer.

I've checked with our capacity planners - I can confirm we can't see any issues on the Chorus side.
no congested links or packet drops.

That reddit post does state that Flip have mentioned they have a known issue though!
