I am currently looking at smaller UPS options: Dynamix, Digitus and Liebert in the range of 600 to 1200va.

Other threads on GZ say that Dynamix battery replacements are a bit of a PITA.

Anyone have any experience with UPS battery replacements with 12V 7Ah and 9Ah batteries.

TIA

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.

yes, you just need to get the ups apart enough to disconnect the terminals and also get the battery out and the new one in.

Remember most UPS have a F2 terminal these are LARGER than the standard F1 terminal. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULmU8xxrIxY)

Additionally i have replaced a few battery's in ups all of various degrees of difficult, price up the battery's and decide if its worth the time (Up to 20 Minutes) to save the land fill and learn along the way.

Apc i have found to pretty straight forward for replacements, Dynamix just a bit fiddly undoing the long screws to lower the cradle down to be able to remove the old battery's.

Basic safety first though, UNPLUG from mains, CONFIRM UPS is not making power, Disconnect a battery, BE CAREFUL OF ANY CAPACITORS.

Watch a few Youtube videos.

The current model Dynamix UPS's are pretty easy to replace the batteries on, the older ones from 5 or so years ago weren't easy at all. the current ones are fine.
