28 mbithehe check this out for south dunedin duno y but my net just spiked to 28mbit that day ran a few speed test with the same result only for 1 day tho :(

This is "strange". It could be some reporting error,  because with 256 Kbps upload speeds your PC would never be able to download at more than 4 Mbps (or around that) due to the way the protocol works...

There has been something a touch weird with that Auckland speedtest server for a while. That, or a 100m fibre magically operates at 260mbit to that site only.

That's funny.

I'm on a 256K down/128K up plan (max 30kb/s download speed) with Slingshot in Dunedin. Sometimes, *sometimes* I try and download something, and it boosts up to 400-500kb/s download. I have no idea why it's happening -- I dindn't even know the wires here could handle those speeds.
