Well I've just had Chorus install fibre at my house today, and frankly all I can say is they were friendly, polite, professional, speedy and did the install to a very high standard.

Oh wow, judging by your title, I thought it was going to be another rant/complaint thread and yet surprisingly it's not.

Also had a similar experience when I recently moved into a new house.

Keep it up Chorus!

Yeah, I thought, it's a bit like hospitals, they're only in the news when a screw up happens, the other 50,000 patients/fibre installs go well but no credit is given. Thought I'd give them a shout out with a fine click bait subject line.

Must agree, just had two Indian guys in today hooking us up to fibre. Same two I had issues with a couple of months back... you can probably find the thread where I moaned about them.

Was expecting all sorts of problems, but they have done a great job!

Was expecting another complaint about @ChorusNZ but great to read good review

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

No pictures, I was embarrassed enough having them install the ONT and seeing my crimes against networking. I was very impressed to see the level come out for the installation of the ONT bracket. Lets just say I am running an Ethernet cable breeding program on the floor of the closet where I had it installed, they had to work in an orgy of excessively long Ethernet cables, router, modem, switch, PoE injector, plus the child's stuff hidden there as part of an effort to 'tidy' their room. Outside, they waged war on unpruned roses and runaway agapanthus.

I was sufficiently shamed into deciding to install a small shelf and getting some appropriate length cables this weekend...
