I have a friend who currently has pretty poor rural ADSL, he is right in between 2 cabinets, but I estimate the further one to be at least 4.5KM away.

Do these stats look bad or good? They've mentioned that some tech (possibly Chorus) have said the line is "very noisy". And do you think having a master splitter installed would help?
