I'm on an older Spark UFB plan for $130/month, but spark says they can't do unplan at my address.

Unfortunately, there is no way to compare the performance of ISP's.

What is Orcon like these days? Their unlimited max speed plan at $85 / month looks pretty good, and no CGNAT either.

@surfisup1000 Spark weren't getting confused with unplan over FW not UFB were they?

If you are on UFB already you should be able to get the Unplan?

$85/m is for Orcon's Gigantic Plan.

Their maximum bandwidth offering is Fiber 4000 at $200 per month (certain area's only)

Voyager are very good. No CG-NAT, One-off charge of $14.95 for a static IP and if you put in the comments that you want IPv6 they'll do just that for you.

They've also got excellent support and a Geekzone presence.

FYI - Don't trust Broadband Compare. I've pointed out they're very bias based on the commission they get for signing you up for any provider and often don't recommend the best plan to you.

I don't qualify for unplan at my address.   I signed into my spark account account and click upgrade to an entertainment plan and it comes up with this...

"UNPLAN Broadband is unavailable
Unfortunately Unplan broadband is unavailable at your address. We have recommended the best option for you below based on what is available in your area."

So ,that is not an option.

OK, thanks, I'll look into voyager.   Are their speeds pretty reliable through the entire day/week/month?

It is really difficult to choose a new ISP, because at least with spark I know their service is good , even at peak times.

I could sign up to orcon for 2 years then find that they slow down at peak netflix times -- i'm not saying this is the case but how am I supposed to know one way or another without being able to test them out first.

That's not because the entertainment plan is changing due to Lightbox going or something is it? @hio77 Would have thought that Unplan would be OK anywhere there is UFB. FW might be restricted due to capacity issues obviously.

Sounds buggy for sure, have you connected via live chat or tried calling?

As I understand it unplan is available on UFB period, no geo limit, sounds like you need to talk to a isr rather than rely on the Web site.

Can you please DM me your account, I'm not convinced we can't offer you unplan.... far more likely there is a data error to fix

I've managed to get Myspark to show the unplan options now --  tried twice in a row, didn't work the first time, second time was fine.

So shortlist is Orcon, Voyager, Spark Unplan entertainment.

Gotta get my calculator out now, thanks to those who gave suggestions.
