Hi everyone.

i want to know

After install an ADSL splitter, do i have to install a new jack point for adsl and connect the phone cable from modem to new adsl jack point.

OR

can i just join the orange and white date and line wire into a RJ-11 phone cable and connect into my modem directly with out jack point???

Its a bit messy puting a RJ11 plug on a solid Cat3 cable as you have, you cannot readily get RJ11 plugs for solid cable, I suggest you get another BT Phone socket and connect the direct prefiltered line to that to connect your DSL modem to.
