Residential 200/20 costs similarly to residential MAX/500, so there's hardly any point in offering it. Most won't as such.
Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.
In Christchurch some ISP's do 200/20 for same price as 100/20, it's a special offer from Enable. Don't know how long it will last, into second year now.
When it ends I'll go back to 100/20 as don't believe it's worth extra. I definitely wouldn't want 30/10 for the ISP's that offer that, as notice difference from that speed to 100/20.
I'll look at the max/500 speed if that is still on special with 2degrees when my contract ends, but that's not till around mid next year.
The reason really is why would you want 200Mbit when you could have Gigabit for the same price. The Gigabit wholesale price has come down since we had 200/20 so there is no point offering it now.
You're best to have too much bandwidth than not enough. Pretty great how Gigabit is almost the standard now here in New Zealand.

Linux: Check out the latest 2degrees offer 1000Mbps down and 500Mbps up for 12 months $75
That’s with a 2degrees pay monthly mobile plan, otherwise $85 - still a great price.

I would get that but I don't want to go with ISP that uses CGNAT
Another $10/month gets you a static IP. It adds up but it's still not a bad price.
Big pip still offers it, but at $99 a month youd be mad not to sign up to the plan mentioned above with a static IP total cost $85/month

To be perfectly honest - you would not notice you were using CG-NAT if you were not hosting services yourself. It is becoming more the norm lately as IPv4 addresses are expensive. I've got friends of mine who have complex camera setups and use around 5tb per month of internet who didn't even know they were on CG-NAT as all their services were still working fully fine. If you don't have a home server, are not hosting anything, don't port forward etc then just try CG-NAT for a start to save yourself some money - if it doesn't work out then give the ISP a call and opt in for a static IP.
