Wow, their "help" page has virtually no help on it. There's also a link for "Bay of Plenty" outages which goes to UFF's website despite them only covering one of the Bay's three main areas (the others being Chorus).

Spark allows the use of absolutely anything as the PPPoE username and password as they do port based auth via option 82.

For any RSP that does not use this method you'll need the correct PPPoE username and password to authenticate.

Wow, what a crappy, unhelpful site. What convinced you to change to them, just out of interest? Price?

Well they have the Ministry of Education contract , so if your child needs a laptop(chromebook)/help assistance i.e difficulties reading Deslexia, you get free internet :)

Nice concept, but obviously the provider is not in the position to support those people. Free always comes with a catch....  :(

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I agree, I think it's a great idea, but the Government should have picked someone who could actually provide support when it's needed.

Did this get sorted in the end?
@freitasm - might be better to move this to the Broadband forum (not really related to LAN).
