I did a research and there are 100/200 then 950M, nothing else exist. I was wondering why no one is interested at making something in between.

Because there's next to no demand and the marginal cost of the max plans over the 100 or 200 plans is so small there's no sensible product differentiation possible.

Chorus and the other UFB fibre companies may only sell wholesale layer 2 service. They offer 200Mbps and 1Gbps (nominal, Ethernet) rates. There is nothing to stop any RSP from offering anything they want, based on those inputs. They could sell any speed up to 200Mbps (using the 200Mbps input), rate-limiting the actual speed at the ISP, or up to around 960Mbps (using the 1Gbps input), just as they can also have bigger, or lower, or no volume caps. However, since they would consume a 1Gbps service to offer anything above 200Mbps, but would (presumably) have to charge less than the full-speed service, there is little incentive to do so. And there is obviously insufficient demand, in their opinion, to pressure the fibre providers to offer an intermediate speed. 'Good' and 'Best' are sufficient, and 'Good', 'Better' and 'Best' don't seem to be required, because even the worst service—'Good'—is generally quite good enough.

Minimal price difference and would just clutter up the pages with more options. Only really need 2 - poverty plan and fast plan.

People that hammer their max/max plan actually cost RSPs money for less than $20+GST per month the RSP had to provide bandwidth, pay their staff and make money
