Line has just been changed from ADSL to VDSL, roughly 1.3km from cabinet. 24 hour uptime currently. I'm thinking it's about all you could ask at that distance?

Looks okay given the distance.

What was it under ADSL?

About 17mbps (and 1 up of course) so while this is still not amazing it's a heck of a lot better. No other good options in this particular area at this stage.

Is there still that 10 day period where the connection 'adjusts' itself?

Certainly used to be a thing that the line would monitor itself and make adjustments over a period of time to give the best possible connection.

Don't know whether than means if it speed go up or down - But regardless - just leave it alone for now.

Don't unplug or reset or turn off or touch anything on the modem currently.
let it do its thing and see where you end up.

So glad to not have to worry about line stats anymore on fibre!

Got a master filter? Wondering if you could squeeze a bit more upstream out of it.

Yeah master splitter is installed but I think that the phone line may do a bit of a run around on the property before it gets to the ETP. Not my place, a client's.

Given the length, there is very little noise and it's done pretty damn well.

As some others have mentioned, given the distance from the Exchange/Cabinet, the stats looks pretty good.

Just for comparison, back at my previous place (we were renting then), we were about 1.2kms from the exchange and we could only get max of approx 10.5Mbps down and 800kbps up, so your stats looks really good for a 1.3km distance.  Granted this was before Nov 2016 so things could have improved/changed since then, but still...

Glad that at least we are now on fibre and don't have to worry about those stats anymore!

28.6 dbm seems high for 1.3km and closer to 1.6 I am guessing your cable run is not direct

I'd hope if you leave it to do it's adjustments (and as others have said don't restart your router etc in this time if you can avoid it), you should get better upload.
