In this article about chorus, it touchs on hyper fiber going from 4Gbps to 8, and one day 26.

But...don't all the ONT's have a regular 1GBps ethernet port ?

The current HyperFibre ONT has 1x 10G port and 4x 1G ports.  Alas, I've yet to play with one.

Because you are only using 30Mb/s of your 26Gb/s, so whats your problem :)

It's actually 25Gbps, according to the Chorus shareholder docs. I think 26 was a typo. Not that it makes a difference! Probably a very long way off, at any rate.
