Hey all, just wanted to know if anyone here uses Megatel Fibre internet, is it reliable? My friend is about to move into her new house and is in need of a good affordable ISP. She encountered Megatel and was wondering if Megatel Fibre internet is good and reliabe? their fibre plans seem quite cheap and I hope there isn't catch. I haven't used Megatel before so I can't give her the answers.

Never heard of them. Looks like they've been around for a while and are owned by Nova Gas now.

I'd probably stick with one of the bigger players.

If you're going to take a punt on any ISP you're unsure about, make sure you don't sign a term contract or have any early cancellation fees.

I *think* Megatel specialised in supporting the Korean community when they first started, but that was 10 years or so ago.

Megatel have been around a long time now, but as mentioned above, a majority of their clients were Korean (and I think the original owners were Korean). Never heard anything bad about them, only knew one person using them back in the ADSL days.
