I've just noticed a Chorus fibre?? that mid span is about 2.4m above ground. There's a support clip that's not attached to the pole. Is that type of clip even used for fibre?

What's best way of getting this sorted? Get house near it to report through their ISP even if it's not their line?

Yes there are minimum height standards. They vary depending on whether the cable is hanging over private property or council property (roads, footpaths etc).

 

I can't recall the exact standards off the top of my head but it's definitely more than 2.4 metres.

This morning I had a reply to the damage report saying a tech visit had been organised for this afternoon. I hadn’t seen anything happen by about 4pm but anyway it's now fixed. Chorus making good use of the extended daylight 😀
