Hi
Have been with Vodafone for many years and thinking it’s time to reassess my fibre isp. There doesn’t seem to be a great deal of difference in the pricing once you look beyond any introduction offer so for me the next thing to consider is the help line. Are there any providers that have nz based helplines. I am retired and find some dialects difficult to understand hence the question
Thanks

Voyager have a NZ based helpline, head and shoulders above other ISP's and Telecos IMHO

Also one off fee of $15 for a static IP which is worth it.

Linux: Look at Quic

Quic is more "self-service" unless its a problem on Quic's end, which may not suit everyone

I think NOW's call centre is based in NZ, as is Voyager.

Quic don't have any call centre, do they?

If you want good support I'd say NOW would be your best bet - https://www.nownz.co.nz/

They're more geared towards providing service and have at-home support also. More a basic ISP but sounds like that is what you're looking for.

Quic will be a hard no for you as they're more geared towards technical folk and Voyager may be OK if you don't mind configuring your own router but for support NOW ticks all your boxes as a good general purpose basic ISP.
