I have purchased a Starlink RV unit from Noel Lemming.

I cant get it setup as the App says the Device ID is invalid.

I cant find a phone number for Starlink, or a Technical support email address!

I have emailed their generic email address multiple time over recent weeks without any reply or acknowledgement

Any suggestions????

You've been more patient than I would have been! It's probably easiest to make it Noel Leeming's problem.

This usually happens when the Starlink device is associated with someone else's account, either as a pre-used device or just already "sold" to someone else. Best course of action is to return to Noel Leeming.

There is a support page for this error.

Welcome to StarLink support! In all seriousness, I would return it to NL and get a new one.

We followed the Link and completed the Starlink Help form but have never had a response despite submitting it twice over several weeks.

I also emailed the NL corporate supplier and got no response from them either…

After some weeks we still can't activate the Starlink Roam.

Noel Lemming Coporate HQ say it's a Starlink problem, and wont / can't help.

We have submitted multiple Starlink Help 'Tickets" and they have never responded.

There is no phone number anywhere to speak to a Starlink Human.

Consumers guarantee act says its noel leemings responsibility to fix it as they sold it to you.
I would take it in, demand a refund, or if they decline then phone your bank on the spot and ask for a credit card charge back.

@stevemat This is not rocket science demand a refund from Noel Lemming and if they say no then bring up the ' consumers guarantee act '

It’s not that simple in my case as we are a corporate user based in Christchurch and the Starlink was supplied by Noel Lemming Corporate sales in Auckland.

While they have been “helpful” on the phone from Auckland, they insist its a Starlink issue - which it cleary is from a technical position.

As an aside, a tech from another company in Wellington was recently on a low earth satellite course in Aussie and a Starlink rep told the conference that if Starlink works thats great, but if it doesn’t, best you go with another hardware supplier as there basically is no support….

The OP clearly pointed out it was a Corporate purchase, therefore CGA is irrelevant and does NOT apply. (in spite of what many here might try and suggest)

Go back to your Noel Lemmings Corporate Account Manager, for the RMA return.

They've still sold you "faulty goods" so def go back to NL. Ask them to replace or sort it out with the manufacturer/supplier.  Regardless of CGA. If you had purchased a TV from them (for corp use) and you unboxed it and it was DOA, they'd replace it straight away or get the supplier involved who would replace it.

Even though CGA may not apply the Fair Trading Act does and there's just normal contractual misrepresentation to consider.

Return it to Noel Leeming for a refund.
