Hi Team.

 

A client works from home using Contact Energy broadband and is having trouble accessing some internet resources.  Two examples:

 

Is anyone else seeing partial service issues with Contact?  I'm not sure who their upstream provider is.

I've tried to call them today but they couldnt find any issues. However it has become worse now.

 

 

 

I cant access to many game platforms. Interesting. 

 

 

 

Also speedtest website (such as the Chorus one) is very slow to load. However the speed looks fine once its loaded up. Sometimes it might show unable to connect to server.

 

 

 

Must be some issues with contact internally I guess.

Thanks for your update. I've also given them a call and restarted my whole system, including the ONT. Tried on LAN, I also experience the same issue.

They don't see an issue on their end.

Hopefully it will resolve by tomorrow, otherwise may have to ring them up again.

Any updates on this?  One of our users is having some weird O365 issues and the only thing I can point fingers at, at present is this Contact ISP issue?

Just got a call from Contact. Apparently there is an outage impacting the whole of Auckland. They are working to resolve it...
