Hi there,

Currently, I am using Skinny which does not do vlan tagging.

I am looking to switch to another ISP and most requires vlan tagging.

My router does not support tagging on the WAN port, but support on LAN ports and wifi.

Anyone knows if it would work?

Advise router make and model.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

To expand on this.... some routers such as TPLink dont have the vlan 10 tagging option on the WAN configuration screen - its in an unrelated stupid place under IPTV settings.

Yep, that is the case with my router - the VLAN options are under the IPTV settings which allow tagging on LAN ports including WIFI, but not on WAN ports.

Some ISPs can offer untagged on request like Slingshot.

The tagged (IPTV or Internet) service is obviously being delivered to the router via the WAN interface, I think you just lack insight. If you provided the make and model then someone will advise.
