So I’m at my in-laws place and was reading a book on the couch.

Next thing I heard this weird noise, quite loud, coming from the ONT.

Apparently it’s been like that for a while, intermittent.

Any idea what it could be?

Might be a cooling fan inside - not sure if they have one?

 

Maybe it's an irate bee...

Get them to contact their RSP - may require a tech to visit and take a look at it (better safe than sorry).

 

There are no cooling fans in there so it won't be something like this.
