Jokes aside: depending on LEO’s pricing; WISPs that are still around may find they have a resurgence in customers.

I got an email saying Max plan is up to $170 and the mini standby is going up to $30. So I'll return mini and drop down to the 200mbs plan

I’ve had the odd postcard from them wanting me to sign up, and I’m in a Chorus Fibre area too so my 500mbit plan is cheaper 

I got an email saying Starlink standby is going up to $20/mth, doubling in price.

Has anyone else on the 200Mbps plan notice being invoiced $125.01 per month, rather than the advertised price of $125.00?

I don’t really care about the 1 cent and understand it’s caused by GST and rounding, but it’s advertised as $125, so shouldn’t that be what is charged?

I opened a support ticket, but it was closed pointing to the price increase FAQs. Is this something to just let go of? Across their customer base over time this is extra money for such a big corporation.

The other shonky thing is advertising headline prices without GST then when you get to checkout the GST is added back on and the total increases. I was fairly sure that this was not generally allowed under NZ trading laws (except when primarily marketing to businesses).

All the prices I see on the Starlink site are including GST.

Looks like the issue is sorted now but was a problem for a good few months there.

I thought it would be something they would pick up and fix, so didn’t worry about it for the 28th June invoice, but yesterday’s 28th July invoice still has it.

The problem is lack of enforcement, and lack of knowledge.
