Hello,

I have been struglling to find any help online for this so I thought I would try Geekzone. Not sure if I am in the right Forum mind you but it is difficult to describe.

I am with Go Live (unlimited Download - Telecom).

On some websites (e.g. http://www.iobit.com/), when I try to download a program... it takes forever for the File Download box to appear (the one with Run Save or Cancel option). Sometimes it takes so long I just give up. Is this a connection issue or might there be something I am missing? I try to keep my system well maintained and scanned for spyware and adware. Some websites are fine but some just take forever. When I try them on other pc's (possibly with better internet connections) they are fine.

Would be keen to here your thoughts.

Cheers

Adrian

IE. I have just used my PC on a faster wireless connection and the box does come up a bit quicker although still slow.

Surely it must be the connection???

Well, I'd check with some other browser first before blaming the connection. Try Opera or Firefox, for instance.
