Not sure if this is the right forum.

We have a client with a CSD GSM modems that need to dial up to an ISP (they communicate via email). Apparently you cannot connect to a 0867 number from a GSM (Vodafone) CSD modem. Previously they were calling Kiwilink who still ran a 09 XXX XXXX dial in number. Does anyone know of any ISPs that still offer dial up on non 0867 numbers?

0873xxxxx should work - try Xtra dialup 087303030
I think Maxnet have an 09 numbers too

I used to connect to Xtra on their 0873 number from my GSM modem. I don't know of any other non-0867 numbers.

I know it's a bit OT but is there any reason they're still sticking with CSD dialup? Depending on the volume of calls switching to modems with GPRS or 3G would offer significant advantages.

The modems are sold with the dataloggers as a pair from overseas, and only have CSD. Agree that GPRS or 3G would be nice.

MAxnet have one that they use for international customers as I had a friend that used it from aussie as he worked for one of their VISP's.

Finding it is the hard thing. www.maxnet.co.nz have a look.
