Seem to be trouble on various international connections this afternoon, seems to be something broken at reach.com.

Can anybody confirm?

Im also on TCL cable and i cant connect to Windows live,Xfire,Team Speak.

Browsing standard websites is sometimes alrite, others on the otherhand never stop loading.

Speedtest.net is going surprisingly well giving me results that reflect my advertised speeds (10MB d, 2MB u)

Has anyone spoken to TCL? The service status pages says nothing about the cable being down just something about spam and the tv service.

Yes seems to be operational again now.

The service status pages says nothing about the cable being down

Nothing new, T/Clear seldom puts anything on that page that should be there.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

I honestly cant be bothered calling them these days with outage info because they never seem to believe me anyway and say its just our servers causing the problem and not them.

Aha! So it wasn't just a figure of my imagination.

On Telstra's VDSL and experiencing same thing.

I heard that some major upstream provider in the states had issues today, I believe it was cogent which may have had roll on effects as we noticed it today going via a number of upstream providers.

I've been having packet loss issues to Aus/US for a while now on Inspire (but I think that they've just got a screwy router)
