Hi,

I have a SHDSL over ATM modem and 2 lines for 4 wire bonding, and I was wondering if anyone could help me to find if the G.991.2 standard explicitly says that if one of the pairs loses synchronization the service goes down.

I explain a bit more. Suppose you have your bonding working at 4mb and you disconnect the primary pair, what should happen? keep the service at half speed?, lose service?, also the same questions applys to the secondary pair.

Thanks in advance

All the SHDSL connections I've seen use 4 wires and are 2mbps. I was also under the impression that 1mbps only needed 2 wires.
