Hello fellow geeks, I need your help! We just replaced our old router with a DSE XH9949 4-port broadband router. We're with Orcon and connect at 768kbps up / 8128kbps down. We're finding whenever we're uploading (i.e. via FTP) our downloads crawl almost to a stop - this didnt happen with our old router. I've enabled QoS in the WAN settings, to no avail, and the Quality of Service section of the router config is way over my head - do I need to throttle uploads? Wy is this happening now? if anyone has any ideas, suggestions or solutions I'd appreciate them very much

Many thanks

Lucas

Does any amount of upload cause the problem or only when upload is maxed out?

Even a single upload slows everyone on the LAN to a crawl
