Hi guys,

Anyone can help me regarding my broadband installations?

I moved to a new house in late of December last year. The house located in Flat Bush, Auckland. I called up telstraclear to get internet connected, but they told I have to wait because there is no available port in the exchange. Then I called up Telecom, same story but they told exact time to waiting: Till Sep 2011Undecided

Then I called vodafone, coz I am not in their Red Network so have to wait. Checked up Orcon, no luck, not in their Orcon+ network....

Anyone had same problem here?

I really don't want to go for those expensive mobile broadband, anyone can give me a suggestion?

THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!!!

I'm guessing here, but I think the September 2011 date is when they are installing new gear in the Telecom exchange, but you can still get a port before then on the old gear by going on a waiting list, and when someone cancel's their phone line/broadband then you get that port.

I'm guessing you're not in a part of Flat Bush that has fibre?

at least have yourself on the waiting list, as I understand it the bigger the list the sooner telecom/chorus will add more ports?

Wireless between your and your friends house might be an option worth looking at if you are likely to be waiting until 2011
