It's me again, the chap from Europe asking about ISPs.
One other thing I've noticed is that ISPs in NZ have a charge for static IP. I mention this not as a criticism of NZ but as a hopefully interesting observation as I've never come across this before. (Mods - please move to my other thread if needed).
In Europe I was used to just finding out my ISPs DNS then changing my settings to static ISP and hey presto (used it for port forwarding). Is there a valid justification for this charge i.e. what are the costs involved to the ISP?
