Heya guys,

Im moving into a flat and i have to sort out the internet..

We dont want a phone line at all, and i was looking at slingshots 25gb plan that was $80 with no phone,

But they say i need an active phone line. what do i have to do people :(

Slingshot (for some reason) don't have the processes or systems to do line provisioning themselves so they require an active phone / landline before transferring to them.

Basically you have to pay Telecom $50ish to connect a land line, then signup for Slingshot.  Might have to pay 1 month landline rental to Telecom (not sure).

Well thats a terrible process.. i think they need to mature enough to provision lines themselves before being considered a "naked DSL" provider.
