Hello,

As you know the big time plan at telecom ends next month, so I made a jump to another ISP.
I have thomson wireless modem v7 - it's a standard modem you get from telecom when you sign for 2 yr contract.
The new ISP provided me with new user name and password and told me to simply change router setting to connect.
The problem is I forgot to ask them in detail about how to do so at the time. :(
The transfer from telecom to new ISP will occur on monday and I really need to know how to change it before then. I could call them but it just takes ages to get through the hold on the phone. (I'm sure you know how it is)
Can anyone help me with this? It looks pretty simple thing to do.

Thanks heaps in advance

Cheers

From memory it would be going to 192.168.1.254 in browser and then clicking on Broadband Connection on the left hand side.

Click on "Show More" next to the disconnect/connect button. Disconnect the connection and change the user@xtrabb.co.nz and password to your new one. Click connect.
