
My upload speed have really gone down (It was even worse last night).
My suspicion is that it is linked to the switch from Big Time to Adventure plan. But been told that is not the case. They told me it must be my monitored alarm [Unplugged it and still the same], too many devices [disconnected them all - still the same], noice/ static in the line [How come I am getting a decent download speed then?]. They Tested my modem remotely and said it seems fine.
The option they gave me
- Get a new modem and try the speed. [Why should I when the modem came with my plan - but they wont lend me a new modem to try the speed difference]
- Get one of the technicians to come in and see if there is fault (there are no fault here - I just want my speed up a bit please] - besides it is chargeable if no fault!
Telecom suggested that I should be happy with that performance as it is better than what most people are getting.
