So Im switching from one ISP to a new one,  wont say which one but the new one told me now would be good and I agree.  Seems their definition of now is 10 working days - 2 weeks!  luckily Im not in a hurry but doesnt this seem like a very long time to connect me to their services when I already have existing internet and phone lines???

Do you know if you are moving to your isp's own gear or just on Telecom Wholesale equipment.

If you are moving from telecom wholesale to your isp's own gear, it requires a chorus tech to actually physically change your line. so This may be why it takes so long.
