Is there a best way to configer woosh to get maxium speed. Or is it good straight out of the box?

Sell your house and move closer to a Woosh cell site. Or better yet, convince Woosh to build one on your property :P

There is not much you can do about the speed. You can choose to use the booster antenna for better reception.
