O.K. so I bricked my xtra G604T/TX router by updating it with firmware that was meant for the non xtra version of the router. Anyway I need recommendations for a good quality router for under $70, second hand or new, doesn't have to have wireless. Kthnks!Laughing

TP-Link TD-8840 in Half-bridge mode.  Then use something else to share it out if you have multiple computers using the net.  Otherwise something with more RAM..

So TP-link seems to be the favorite child in the router world?

They're surprisingly good given their cost.  If you're cost conscious would recommend.

Dunno what else would actually fit wiithin you're budget.

I'm personally using one in half-bridge mode to a PC after having problems with previous routers I've had the most joy with this one.  Mine was about $40 off trademe I think.
